The Community Service Society of New York
Sub‑brand identities, Publication Design & Event Collateral
CSS is one of New York's longest-standing nonprofits, working at the intersection of research, direct services, and advocacy to expand opportunity for low-income New Yorkers. Its programs span healthcare access, affordable housing, economic security, legal advocacy, workforce development, reentry initiatives, youth policy, and volunteer mobilization. Its audiences range from individuals navigating public benefits to social services professionals seeking training to policymakers reading research.
The work shown here spans eight years within the Department of Marketing and Digital Strategy. Sub-brand identities, multichannel campaigns, and publications produced across a broad program portfolio, alongside the templates and systems that support on-brand production organization-wide.
The three sections below represent the core of that output.
Brand Systems
Sub-brand identities developed for CSS programs and initiatives, each built to serve distinct audiences while maintaining coherence within the broader organizational identity.
Campaigns
Multichannel campaign creative designed around specific audience objectives, spanning digital advertising, out-of-home, motion, email, and social.
Publications
Editorial and policy publication design across reports, briefs, and surveys, built for clarity, accessibility, and consistent brand expression.
