IV Purpose

IV Purpose was a sports bar and restaurant designed to bring the midtown Manhattan style sports bar experience to Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn.
Its custom slab-serif “IV” was inspired by jersey-number typography, with a subtle arrow formed in the negative space of the “V” pointing to the brand’s core idea: purpose. The word “Purpose” is set in a brush script to introduce warmth and a more human, personal touch.
Menu Design
In house menus and drink cards for tables were designed with rich jewel tones to attract the eyes interest. Legibility, and recognition of choices were important factors in font choice and color palette.
To-Go, Trifold menus were designed with a bit more white space for legibility. Key points are highlighted in color to make it easy to scan.
